The postal house and the postal bird next to me

It’s Newman. It’s a bird. It’s postal bird! I rarely see my neighbor, the postal bird. It is always out. I rarely see customers coming to the post office, either. But I know the mail comes. It keeps coming. The postal bird is quite content, I can feel it. The postal bird is happy here, and is happy flying here and there.

The post office is always open. I am not sure where the postal bird sleeps in it, but it must be somewhere near the top opening. That is where mail is thrown in during late hours. The postal bird never complains, or if the postal bird does complain, I do not notice it. Everything is peaceful, calm, and secluded. It is not earth. It is not heaven. It is something real that is happening right now. It is more than peaceful. It seems the 2 houses are next to a house almost a million times bigger, but it does not matter. Who knows what is back there. One day maybe one of us will find out. Focus is on this part of the universe, and it seems this is life and it is good. Being considerate and being focused helps, and it helps in realizing that the tag line “Life is a bed full of roses” is a myth. In reality, life is life, and you enjoy it once you are content that some things enable you to feel peaceful and satisfied in some manner.

Even though the postal bird is rarely seen, or ever seen by many people, the mail keeps on getting delivered. The postal bird probably gets anxious. Probably gets worried. Probably gets nervous. Probably gets stressed. But I am sure the postal bird, by the end of the day, gets some things done and comes back home to rest, to relax, to not particularly thank for a peaceful life but to thank for what the postal bird has and how the postal bird lives. There are no cars, no cell phones. We may have a television with Tom & Jerry playing, or Columbo, or Seinfeld, though. Cats are cute, but Postal Bird seems to avoid walking.

One of the several dreams about several ways of life that can be nice, inspired after talking to a friend who lives by the moor.
