Then, now & next – Me with water drops

This photograph was posted on Sep 19 2008

Picture of water drops on passenger window with view of the right side & the rear view mirror which shows the path behind

This is my life. A very beautiful life in my view. History, realization, and uncertainty. Slowly and surely, the history has become less important, and realization and the uncertainty have become the final frontiers. Maybe it is because I have realized the uncertainty of history and how it can have little role on today and tomorrow. Yes, that is probably it.

I like driving. I like driving in the rain a lot. Actually, I love the rain, and I love being in the rain a lot. So maybe this picture is to celebrate and congratulate the rain, me, and the car. While I drive enclosed within this sheet of metal, it is enjoying the rain pouring on it. If only I had a waterproof camera, I would be taking pictures of my time spent directly in the rain also.

I feel I can see ahead into the uncertainty in this and similar pictures. I can look and see where I am. And I can see what is behind. A curving road, showing me a bit of the path taken, and a lot of what is back there. Love, the water drops and this car are my companion. The roads are enjoying the rain. I wonder if the roads enjoy me going over them.

Love and live are merging as one. Love is here, and love is somewhere else too. I am alive, and so is the rain and so is the sun. Even if someone hates the sun, they still miss it at night and try to come up with replacements, like the light, to be able to see the things they want to see. Same is the case with other things: we may judge something, but we do value something else that mesmerizes our senses. “What does that have to do with the rain?“, you ask. The sun is the rain for many people. For me, the rain is my sun too.

I love this picture, as it makes me realize a bit more about what love, life, love in life, and life in love actually is.

Taken on October 16th, 2007 at 1:38 pm. The rain season is on its way again. Love is already here.
