Portrait of a Misty Tree

My favorite Berkeley stop sign light, and I think my favorite stop sign/light, in one of the most beautiful weathers for me. Larger version

Portrait of a Misty Tree

A Misty Tree. [Larger version].

What you do is this: Buy a foot-long Subway sandwich with their $5 special [yummy tuna yay!]. Bring it and sit in an open field clogged with fog - Yay. Don’t worry about bringing water or drinks with you - the beautiful environment will make you forget about thirst due to eating for a while.

Start eating, and then decide on taking a picture. Take out your camera and drop half of the sandwich filling onto the grass, and some on the camera. Then start wondering if you should be sad looking at the wasted yummy food, or if you should continue taking pictures.

Make sure you clean up after yourself. Only if you wish, that is. Also figure out whether you want to pick up the food from the grass first or wipe off the camera clean first.

I call this A Misty Tree for a Misty Spree on Flickr. [Which title/name do you prefer?]

Sign warning against Mountain Lions in Berkeley

In Berkeley, though the sign made it sound like I should start running if I see or hear anything. Taken after the picture titled "Stop in Berkeley fog & rain."

Here kitty kitty kitty.

The lion/cat drawn on that sign actually looks chubby and cute - Bigger version

While I was taking this picture I heard something behind me and almost thought if I should run or take the picture of the lion. It was just the sound of the leaves.

I’m sure the lion was looking at me from behind those trees up ahead and thinking "Sheesh, I should just roar to see if he really stands around to pet me or if he runs after throwing his camera at me."

Balloon girl & guy talking

One of the earliest digital pictures taken in my life - before that, it used to be film. From Flickr

The guy and the girl were probably telling each other stories when customers were not coming to buy or ask something.

I really love how the guy was fully into explaining something funny to the girl and the girl was listening and twisting her feet to stand like that [those of you that know me offline may now stop laughing when I stand like that from time to time yay].

I want a few of those balloons.
