“Statue of Liberty Wants Money in Vegas?”

Statue of Liberty Wants Money in Vegas? at New York New York in Las Vegas - by Bes Zain

Statue of Liberty Wants Money in Vegas?

The story of Lady Liberty,
she is in Vegas and she wants your money,
she wants you to live a happy life,
you can let her guide you through the Vegas delight.

This is life, the patriotic life,
the one that you must obey,
this is where you gamble your life,
and try to keep debts at bay.

Nothing is wrong, everything is right,
Lady Liberty watches over your head,
forget the pledge, and forget your heart,
for only your wallet is needed on the bed.

Do not take me wrong, I am not just after your money,
I want to show you how all of this can be funny,
you work hard to try to make the day more sunny,
you should realize this is why I call you honey.

Relax, sit, and think of your life goal,
you are to rest, to make up for the lost soul,
whether others around you know you or not,
you have to run with the others and let the money roll.

I help protect you from the sand,
and I oversee any good deals for you.
think of me first when you think of Vegas,
for I am a monument and a tourist guide too.

I attract like a beacon, making people think who I am,
I am bright enough to have people write about me,
I am the one that brings you food, drinks and rooms,
I am important enough to have people take pictures of me.

A few question my reality, asking who I am,
I am the Lady Liberty, and I live here in Vegas,
ignore anyone else who looks like me elsewhere,
for I am the one with the real glow and money.

“21st Century Glass Pyramid.”

21st Century Glass Pyramid

21st Century Glass Pyramid

What is this that I see,
magnificently big and offering glee,
black glass shining in our eyes,
the new pyramid shopping spree.

This is the Grand Luxor,
where the world wants to go,
forget the ones in Egypt,
and also the ones in Mexico.

It takes your breath away,
both in the day and the night,
it is here to help you stay,
to help you live a Vegas life.

The biggest achievements of the human race,
copied awesomely for the new age world,
the old brick ones were to please the gods,
and this one exists to please the cash box.

4,407 rooms for you, them and me,
to enjoy, gamble, and drink vodka lychee.
There is enough space for the entire family,
take pictures, and relax in the A/C.

The sun wants to burn, so we run inside,
into the glass urn, for the clouds to be nice,
we have no reservations, and no memory,
came here to worship, not your god but money.

We will tell others about you,
so that they will marvel at your sight,
They will stay and they will gamble,
and offer money as the sacrifice.

Location: Luxor Las Vegas, 3900 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

History: This was taken near the main entrance of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. The hotel and casino is designed like a pyramid and named after the Egyptian city of Luxor, which houses the ancient Luxor Temple.

“Paris moved to Vegas?”

Paris moved to Vegas? - by Bes Zain

Paris moved to Vegas? - by Bes Zain

French tourists I see,
waiting in line to see Paris?
everyone wants to go inside,
and be on that elevator ride?

What is this place,
if it is not the real Paris?
That tower in this blistering heat,
is this is not the real Paris?

Why go to Europe and freeze,
when you can come to hot Nevada and play?
Here they have the entire French revolution,
and also many forms of French toast at the buffet.

Play poker here, and slot machines too,
drink the French wine, and look at French signs too,
look at everything in blue, and think it is France,
dine, smoke, relax, let yourself be in a French trance.

The famous Eiffel Tower is here,
and it is yours to conquer for a small fee,
you can ride up to ponder and look at the moon,
and look also at the surrounding tourist sprees.

You can come as a tourist to feel at home,
while living in a room or a suite that is a dome.
You can marvel at what lies in front of you,
and you can pay up to enjoy a French life too.

This is Vegas, and it has all that you need,
the famous city of romance which is bitter sweet,
come to Vegas, if you want to go to Paris,
for Paris has moved to Vegas, so your money can bring you fun for free.

“Tell me. I’ll listen.”

Tell me. I'll listen. - by Bes Zain

Tell me. I'll listen. - by Bes Zain

Tell me, I will listen,
for I have a lot to say too,
tell me, I will listen,
for I see a lot of words in you.

What is it, you can share,
I think I can keep a secret or two,
tell me, I want to hear,
I will listen and tell you something too.

If those that society wants you to be with,
do not understand you, do not listen to you,
you can find out others and just be anything,
for the real listener may simply be within you.

Do you want to make money,
or do you want to work online?
Want a friend on Facebook,
or a physical friend offline?

Do you want to eat more food,
or do you want to write more?
Do you want to blog on MySpace,
or do you want to hide some more?

Do you want to study,
or do you want to stop working?
Do you want to socialize more,
or do you want to stop flirting?

Do you know what you want,
or are you still thinking?
Have you made out a plan yet,
or are you still planning?

Is something bothering you,
or are you bothering someone?
Is there anything that you want to do,
or do you want to be someone?

Tell me what it is,
if you wish to tell me.
For you have a choice to be silent,
for being silent communicates too.

Tell me, I will listen,
for I am wondering if I should speak too,
tell me, I will listen,
for I see a lot of life in me too.
